Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), Chuck Rea (u/s Bert), Carly Paige Baron (Jane Banks), Aidan Gemme (Michael Banks), Tom Souhrada (u/s George Banks), Megan Osterhaus (Winifred Banks), James Hindman (u/s Bank Chairman), Julie Barnes (u/s Miss Lark).
*Master's Notes* Really sad that this fantastic show is closing, great sets and classic songs. Understudy night. Act 1 is complete, slightly shaky but nothing too bad. There are a few blackouts, mostly nothing longer than a few seconds, and some wandering during 'Being Mrs Banks' as the kid in front kept standing up. It is rather annoying to film with so many kids in the audience but I did the best I could and its mostly good and quite focused. Act 2 starts in the middle of Brimstone and Treacle (so its missing 3 minutes), but is a much better shot with few obstructions as I moved. Some wide shots for the sets and choreography, and close ups when necessary.

Good show, different sets from the Broadway version but still pretty impressive. Great cast. The first act is nearly perfectly filmed (few moments of shakiness between scenes) but unblocked and focused. The second act is missing the first 5 minutes, with some slight obstructions (a few seconds) but I shot around it well. No curtain call.
*My Notes* Eli Tokash is commonly billed as the Michael but it is definitely Zachary Mackiewicz, great to see the differences between the Broadway run, which a couple weeks after this performance

PARADE Reunion Concert
February 16, 2015 | Avery Fisher Hall | VOB Limited Trade
Jeremy Jordan, Laura Benanti, Joshua Henry, John Ellison Conlee, Emerson Steele Conducted by: Jason Robert Brown.
A fantastic capture of this one-night-only concert at Avery Fisher Hall. Jeremy and Laura give incredible performances, as does Joshua Henry and too many others to name. Jason Robert Brown gives a speech after the curtain call. Truly an epic night of theatre.
This is a very near perfect video with no obstruction and only slight washout in wide shots. There are two quick dropouts in the first few minutes, but the concert is otherwise fully captured. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, Jason’s speech, and playbill scans. Overall Rating: A+

Hugh Jackman (The Man), Cush Jumbo (The Woman), Laura Donnelly (The Other Woman)
A nice capture of one of this year’s most talked about plays. A very intimate, thoughtful, and
charming story; Hugh Jackman gives a great performance, as does the supporting cast. This is a good capture overall with no washout, very little obstruction, and only a couple short dropouts. There is one head that can occasionally be seen, but does not affect the action, and there are a couple scenes that are a bit dark and hard to see. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is a bit buzzy sometimes, and there is some occasionally shuffling, but all dialogue is listenable. Includes curtain call, audio only of Hugh’s BC/EFA speech and auction, and playbill scans.

November 2012 | Broadway | VOB
Tracy Letts, Amy Morton, Carrie Coon, Madison Dirks
Missing a couple minutes at the beginning of the first and third acts, but otherwise a beautiful capture from the side orchestra with great closeups. One of the best plays I have seen, and the cast has only gotten better since Steppenwolf!

November, 2014 | Broadway | VOB Limited Trade
James Earl Jones (Martin Vanderhof), Rose Byrne (Alice), Elizabeth Ashley (Olga), Annaleigh Ashford (Essie), Johanna Day (Mrs Kirby), Julie Halston Gay Wellington), Byron Jennings (Mr Kirby), Patrick Kerr (Mr DePinna), Fran Kranz (Tony Kirby), Mark Linn-Baker (Paul Sycamore), Kristine Nielsen (Penelope Sycamore)
This is such a hilarious and quirky show, great cast. Act 1 starts about a minute late and there’s some wandering and a couple of blackouts, Act 2 and 3 are unobstructed and very steady.
