IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU - April 11, 2015 NFT until July 15, 2015
Sierra Boggess, Tyne Daly, Harriet Harris, Lisa Howard, David Burtka, Montego Glover, Josh Girsetti, Adam Heller, Edward Hibbert, Michael X. Martin, Anne L. Nathan, Nick Spangler, Chip Zien. Brilliant capture of the hysterical new musical. Sierra is brilliant, Tyne and Harriet are fantastic - and Lisa steals the show. Great humor in the show. A head on the left side of the stage is shot around nicely, but it is present when action is over near it. A
HAND OF GOD - April 12, 2015 Broadway
Steven Boyer, Geneva Carr, Marc Kudisch, Michael Oberholtzer, Sarah Stiles. Beautiful HD capture of this hilarious new play. With glowing reviews this will for sure be a Tony contender. The cast is hysterically perfect with lightning fast paced comedy and larger than life characters. A+
THE VISIT – March 27, 2015 Broadway NFT until July 2015
Chita Rivera, Roger Rees, George Abud, Jason Danieley, Matthew Deming, Diana DiMarzio, David Garrison, Rick Holmes, Tom Nelis, Chris Newcomer, Mary Beth Peil, Aaron Ramey, John Riddle, Elena Shaddow, Timothy Shew, Michelle Veintimilla
Brilliant capture of the second preview. Chita and Roger are brilliant. Fantastic capture with no obstructions and hardly any washout.
PIPPIN - December 30, 2014 Broadway
Leading Player: Carly Hughes Pippin: Josh Kaufman Charles: John Dossett Berthe: Priscilla Lopez Catherine: Rachel Bay Jones Fastrada: Charlotte d’ Amboise Lewis: Mike Schwitter Theo: Eli Tokash A great capture from the last week of performances before the show closed on Broadway. Josh has a great voice, and Carly is charming. Includes a different balancing act at the top of act two than the one I’ve seen before. This is a very nice capture with just some slight washout in the wides, a couple quick dropouts, and only minor obstruction; there is one head that occasionally blocks the actors feet at the front/left of the stage. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.
SIDE SHOW - January 4, 2015 Broadway Coming....
Violet Hilton: Erin Davie Daisy Hilton: Emily Padgett Terry Connor: Ryan Silverman Buddy Foster: Matthew Hydzik Jake: David St Louis Sir: Robert Joy 3-Legged Man, Suitor: Brandon Bieber Geek, Doctor: matthew Patrick Davis Fortune Teller: Charity Angel Dawson A fantastic capture of the revival’s final performance. The cast and audience are on fire; amazing performances all around, with entrance applauses for everyone and standing ovations for each act. Truly an electric night of theatre and a must-see for any fan of the show. This is a great capture with no washout, very little obstruction, and only a couple short dropouts. There are some small heads at the bottom of the screen that occasionally block the actors’ feet, but they do not affect the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, Bill Condon’s farewell speech, encore of Say Goodbye to the Side Show, and playbill scans.
If you only trade the following shows, I will be less likely to agree to a trade, sorry!
Bare, Next to Normal, Matilda, Legally Blonde, Rent, Spring Awakening, POTO, Wicked, Cats, and non-english shows
I will not trade for Mamma Mia, not if my life depends on it.
